On April 1, 2021, The interdisciplinary forum on animal ecology was held by Institute of Innovation Ecology and the Department of Zoology and Biomedicine. Professor Zhang Yingmei, Professor Du Bo, Professor Li Kexin, Young Researcher Zhang Dong, out of the water, land, empty, time and space scales, respectively gave the  lecture on "Animal Responses to Environmental Pollution", "Research on the Progeny Recognition Mechanism of Grey Magpies", "Adaptation and speciation mechanism of blind mole rats", and " Evolutionary dynamics of mitochondrial genomes in crustaceans". During the forum, the faculty and students discussed the evolution and adaptation mechanism of animals under the influence of natural environment, human disturbance and environmental pollution.
